House of the Future Fastpass Tee

Molded almost entirely from plastic, four cantilevered wings around a single column, filled with marvels of the future. When it came down in 1967 the demolition passed into legend; the wrecking ball is said to have rebounded off the shell, and torches, chainsaws, and jackhammers were just as ineffective. The half-inch steel bolts that connected the structure to its reinforced concrete foundation broke before the House did. Stubborn to the last, the foundation itself underlays its successor, the delicate Pixie Hollow, to this day.
