Field notes

Fig. 083 — Observation

Part educational film and part immersive diorama, the attraction featured a great bank of theater cars that broke from their rows and rolled directly into the Mesozoic. Highlights included a dim, dripping forest where a brontosaurus browsed the treetops and an allosaur fought a stegosaur in the sulfur-smelling dark. Classroom, cinema, and time machine: the history of energy as tangible experience.
